Emptying frequency
Food waste: At least 1x/week. Packaging: 1-2x/month. Affects the volume requirement.
Example calculation 40 households
40 households = 12 sqm bin enclosure. 7 fractions = 3 bin enclosures of 4 sqm each. Future-proofing: Add 20% = total 14-15 sqm.
